BARBARA BARKER NAMED MISS LOUISIANAMiss Louisiana of 1952. Mis*Barbara Barker of Monroe, is shown in the center above with the two runners-up immediately following her coronation as queen of the state by Elmer Connor, director of the department of Commerce and Industry, Sunday night in Lake Providence. Miss Jenna Whatley, Miss Winnfield, who was named to second place, it shown at Miss Louisiana's left, and Miss Lora Kemper, Miss Shreveport, third place winner it shown at her right. The petite black haired beauty, who represented Monroe as Miss Monroe during the pageant, before claiming the coveted crown, is shown in the bottom photo with a large bouquet of red rose* and a loving cup which were presented to her by the Northeast La..
