41 r armers to Be Guests at Canners MeetPulaski Grocery company is conducting a canning enterprise in Pulaski county, with forty-twofarmers participating in the project of canning tomatoes.The farmers, as guests of the Pulaski Grocery company, will go-to Roanoke in a body tomorrow to attend a meeting of the Virginia Canners association, which convenes at 10 a. m., at Hotel Roanoke. The company will take the contingent to Roanoke in large trucks, paying all expenses.Luncheon will be served af* Hotel Roanoke at 1:30 p. m. Among the chief speakers of the conventionwho will talk on different phases of canning during the morning session are J. H. Meek, division of markets, department of agriculture, Richmond, formerly county agent, of Pulaski; W. H. Morgon, Continental Canning company, ofNew York; H. R. Smith, NationalCanning association, Washington. In the afternoon the speakers starteing their talks at 1:30. are F. M. Shook, secretary Tri State Packers association, Easton, Md.; Maurice Siegel, Sterasburger and Siegel, Baltimore, Md., at 2:15. The following will attend themeeting:E. C.
