Winners get acclaim and title of world's best - but no cashThe annual international barbershop singing competition is divided into two categories: quartet and chorus A panel of 15 judges rates the groups on three criteria: singing (the sound, intonation, voice quality); presentation (visual and emotional im pact of the performance); andmusic (arrangement and structure of songs.) .p Following are the winners of this week’s competition; thefirst-place groups are deemed the world champions.
