Watchful official* on Peaks island. Me., discovered intermittent flashes of light from one of the cottages. The investigators decided they could decipher part of the code and finally raided the cottage. The owner seemed entirely taken by surprise and shortly explained the mysterious flashes by showing how the wind had played through an open window with the curtain, now causing the light to show and again cutting it off.
