Voters of Shawnee Township*Trustee Lewis B. Waggoner has finished taking the census of the oters of Shawnee township as is required every six years under the law, Mr. Waggoner filed his report with the county auditor Monday, showing that there are 276 male residents of the townehip 21 years and older.While the law does not require it, but as a matter of information Mr. Waggoner also took the number of soldiers and their ages. There were sixteen union soldiersf pas follows: Martin Wilson, aged64; Thomas L. Brown, aged 68; Charles Manlove, aged 68; Wm. P. Hall, aged 65; Alfred Helms, aged 76; Lewis J. Ennes, aged 60; George Brown, aged 62; Lewis B. Reed, aged 59; P. N. Cox, aged 59; Peter Shaffer, aged 64; Stephen Brown, aged 62; Simon LaBaw, aged 65; John Crawford, aged 64; A. L. Claypooi, aged 65; M. B. Briney, aged 66; McKindree Young, aged 59. Frank Pfail, aged 30, was *a volunteer in theSpanish-American war, afterwards serving three years in the regular army. Clarence Talbot, aged 29, served three years in the regular army, and Robert Crowell, aged 65, was a confederate soldier, belonging to a Virginia regiment.
