The Methodist church was organized in 1881. The first pastor was Rev. James H. Moore. A small house was built, and used for several years. It was moved to the rear of the lot in 1887 and the present large brick church erected. The old building is owned by John Rich. Rev. Herbert E. Frohock was pastor at the time the
