VISITED PIONEERSOn Sunday, July 1st, Joseph Falls, of Marlon township, aged 69 years, started out to visit a number of the friends and compahlons of fbrmer years, and among those visited by him were Joseph Awth, of Marion township, aged 93 years; Mrs. Elizabeth S. Thompson, aged 93 years; Mrs. Anna Smitley, this city, formerly of Marion township, aged 84 years; Owen Owens, this city, aged 57 years, who has been with the Pennsylvania railroad for thirty years; Mrs. Lawrence Wesner, aged 64 years; Jerry Biggs, aged 62 years; Michael Orr, aged 75 years, and James Thompson, aged 63 years. Mr. Palls is one of the oldest residents of the country, having resided in Marion township for forty years. He has been a subscriber of The Sentinel daring thetime he lived in Allen county. Two of those old companons visited by him on Sunday have passed away this weekâJames Thompson, who died on Tuesday, and Michael Orr, who died this morning.
