The Dolton volunteer fire department's annual carnival opened Thursday night at Main park, 147th and Evers. It will continue today and tomorrow, with a kiddie parade today and the traditional Independence day paradeand fireworks tomorrow.In the top photo, youngsters get a chance to mimic adult behavior on the Calumet expressway at the Bump-em cars ride.
