Chamberlain Brown players opened their second week here on June 29 with a presentation of the Broadway success, “Remember the Day.”An appreciative audience of theatre goers applauded the efforts of MargaloGillmorc, playing the leading role, and the fine artistic assistance of her sup* porting cast including Arthur Pierson and Walter Elliott.The “charming play by Philo Hig' ley and Phillip Dunning unfolds an episode in the life of a youth who grows to greatness under the influence of a lesson learnt from a teacher in his early days. Children players who bore the brunt of acting in most of the dramatic sequences acquited them' selves in better than creditable style.This week’s performance with its well-rounded acting gives promise for some very fine entertainment here this Summer.Dawn Hope, daughter of Mrs. Adele Blood Hope, director of the Brown-Hope Company, made her dc but as a concert violinist in the inter' mission. Accompanied by Emanuel Lackow, a well-known Russian pianist,Miss Hope played Sarasatc’s “Zigeun-crwiescn.”Margalo Gillmore was last seen in “Ethan Fromc” at the National Theatre. She will remain with the Bronx-villc players throughout the coming week with a leading role in the presentation of “The Distaff Side.”The cast is as follows:1st Bellboy ....................
