Cabot, president of the Ogunquit Art Association, leaves shortly for a six weeks sketching trip to Old Mexico. It is hoped she will bring back man yimpressions of that colorful country done in her usual delightful manner.Places of honor will be given the paintings of the late Howard Russell Butler and Mr. Rice in the forthcoming July exhibition of the Ogunquit Art Association at its galleries on the boardwalk to the beach.Mr. Butler's son, Howard R issell Butler, and Mr. Rice's daughter, Mrs. Hillman, have kindly loaned these paintings for the occasion.At the general meeting of the association on Wednesday several new members were welcomed. Among them were Miss Anne W. Carleton of Boston. Mrs Erick H. Green. Antonio Mattel, Mrs. Anna Walbridge McWilliams of Princeton, N. J.; Miss Hope Smith, Henry Strater and Josiah Tubby of Portland, Me.Heretofore the exhibits of the Ogunquit Art Association have comprised oils, water colors and black and whites. It is expected a department of sculpture will be added to the interest this year.
