WAR WORKER IS HEROINE OK STORYMrs. Gertrude Ely.A war worker in France during the world war and the original of the heroine of a popular novel is Miss Gertrude Ely, of 13ryn Mawr, Pa. The novel was written by her sister, Mrs. Charles Tiffany, of New York City, and is entitled, “The Journal of a Mud House,” being the adventures of two women in New Mexico. Miss Ely is a regional worker for the National league of Women Voters.
