NEW THEME INE. P. ROBERTS CLOSED TEN YEARS LEASE FOR the BIG BUILDING, 11 TO 15 WEST BROADWAY — WILL REMODEL, REFIT AND REFURNISH.riMr. E. P. Roberts, of Indianapolis, today closed a ten years' lease with Will V. Dorsey for the big brick build-1 ing, 11 to 15 West Broadway. Thecontract was a good one and providesfor a handsome rental. Mr. Roberts intends to put in a first class vaudeville and moving picture theater in Shelbyville. The first and second floors will be taken out and the build-j Ing remodeled from top to bottom. Theer will be 1.500 seats including the balcony in the new theater, giving it the largest seating capacity of any public building in the city. Mr. Roberts will place in a new heating, lighting and ventilating system. The building will be cooled in slimmer time by frozen air.It will be modern and up to date in every particular. Five or six thousand dollars will be spent improve ments and it is expected to open the theater September 1st. Fair week, work wiII begin at once.•Mr. Roberts Is au experienced theatrical and moving picture man. He now has a house at Oolumbns. He recently sold two at Indianapolis, but expects to open another one there and also one In another town, shelbyville will surely be provided with good moving picture houses.B
