IMPROVINGMorris Reno May Recover From Acid Poisoning.Morris Reno, who swallowed carbolic acid Sunday night and is confined at St. Edward’s hospital, is improving and he expect* to leave the hospital within a few days. Ilia throat is still in bad condition from the burns of the fiery fluid.To friends, who have called to tee him, he expressed regret for his act and said he had no intention of repeating it. lie said he was sorry that the name of Miss Doris Woodfall had been connected with his act as he said it1 was not on her account that he took the poison. 1 Ie said his mother was in Nashville, Tenn., and that he had not heard from her for over six months and this had worried him until in a period of despondency he decided to kill himself.
