The Main Street Memo will be written in an effort to inform and educate the readers on a vari-Kerrville Main Street Advisory Board. We will all be looking for topics of interest to the community. If you have an idea, let us know.July is a very busy month for Main Street. Currently 11Main Street businesses areparticipating in the First Annual Window Display Contest Series. The Red, White Blue Promotion began on June 22 and will continueety of subjects such as special through July 4th. For this con-events, restoration progress, test, a people’s choice award isierrville Main Streetthe method of judging. All participating businesses have voting ballots for the community to decide the winner. Voting will continue through Tuesdaywith the winner announced at the 4th of July Celebration. The contestants are Arts Parts, Baublit’s Jewelers, Cleaning Ideas, Connoisseur CollectorCo., Creations, Cricket’s, Guadalupe Woods, Infinity Woman’s Wear, Sanchez Hair Designs, The Smokehouse and Schreiner’s Department Store.Also, stop by 223 Earl Garrettto see the window display lovingly produced by the volunteers of the Gold Mine Shop at Dietert Claim.Congratulations to theKerrville Old Town Association for hosting the Old Fashion Ice Cream Social on July 1st.
