Bicentennial CommitteeTells Schedule Of Events■*t***WHml-VPINEV1LLE - ThePineville-BaiieysvilleBicentennial Committee met for its final meeting before the fourth of July weekend celebration Tuesday evening in the dinin room of Cook Memoria Baptist Church, according to Mike Goode, chairman.Announcement was made that the street between the Dollar Store and Wyoming Insurance Company will be blocked off Saturday and food stands, baked goods, etc. booths will be setup in thisarea.The Rev. Raymond Rowe, pastor of the United Methodist Church ofPineville will give the invocation at the opening ceremony at 10:30 a.m.Saturday on the courthouse lawn. Gospel singing will begin at 9 a.m. under the direction of Dewey McKinney.D. Michael Goode, mayor of Pineville, will welcome those present to the celebration. Charles R. Randy Cline will serve as master of ceremonies.Pineville area businesses donated money for the display.Mrs. Gaye Goode, chairman of the committee for the vicentennial belles, announced that the tea will be held at the United Methodist Church at 2:30 .m. today. Serving as ostesses will be Mrs. Clarence Lester and Mrs. Charles Haught, Baileysvilie Woman's Clubs, and Mrs. Bernard Stump and Mrs. Rue Schoolcraft, Pineville Woman's Club. Committee members fromBaileysville are Wanda Lester, Maxine Bishop, Wanda Brooks and Nancy Lambert. Committee members from Pineville are Mrs. Gaye Goode, Genevieve Noble, Millie McKinney, Shirley Williams, and Martha Moore.Everyone is reminded to join in church services sponsored by the Pineville Ministerial Association to be held at 11 a.m. Sunday on the Pineville High School football field withthe Rev. Shirley Donnellyas guest speaker.
