Miss World-USALeigh Avery, Miss World-U.S. A 1969, will arrive in Cres-ton this afternoon to spend the next three days participating in the Crestennial activities.Miss Avery, who is sponsored by the Frostie Company, will be presented a bouquet of flowers by Crestennial Association officials when she arrives at4:30 p.m.She w ill be in the Young America Day parade Thursday morning and w ill spend Thursday afternoon visiting grocery stores in Creston. She will present the awards won in Young America Day competition in the program preceding the Thursday evening performance of the Crestarama pageant.Miss Avery will spend Friday at McKinley park, taking part in the old fashioned July 4th celebration which is part of the Crestennial program.She will ride on the float ofContinued on page 10
