He was ad- I :j£ mitted to the bar in 1879 and formed £c a law partnership with John Karel, is father of Judge Karel of Milwaukee. 21 He held many offices, being city at-1 torney and Mayor of Algoma „ for anumber of years, and represented Ke-1 ^J Uwaunee in the assembly at one time. :a In 1911 he was appointed judge of in Kewaunee county by Gov. McGovern, r and he has twice been elected by the a people of Kewaunee county to sue- ^ceed himself. j ^In 1880, Mr. Parker was united in jvJ Lmarriage to Miss Mary Overbeck, ,.c daughter of the late Rev. Henry Ov- -r erbeclc. To this happy union were j e horn three children viz: Miss Mabel and Edgar of this city and Miss Lee I v* Archer of Racine, all of whom and -lthe widow survive. ' 11Funeral services were held Sunday, _uafternoon in the yard at the home of the deceased, and for blocks along the street the curb was* lined with automobiles and rigs. The Masonic ifraternity took charge of the body after the services at the house*.At the house the Masonic service •Iwas brief consisting simply of the laying of the apron upon tlie coffin. The line of march continued from the house to the cemetery where the .very impressive Masonic burial services were hold, Williard E. Gaede of this city officiating.The following Masons from Sturgeon Bay Lodge were in attendance: C. L. Nelson, W. A. Lawrence, Theo. Swanson, W. It. Higgins, Allen Higgins, L. H. Davis of Centralia, 111., grand master of the grand veil of the grand chapter of Illinois.Relatives in attendance from outside were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Archer of Racine; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Over-.|beck and son Phil of Sturgeon Bay; Mr. and_ Mrs. P. It is worthy of note, that Judge Parker is the sixth county judge in Kewaunee county who bus died while holding the office-—Miller, Rooney, Kwapil, Rogers, and Parker. Judge George W.
