A Most Delightful Time Spent at aCountry Home.About 35 relatives and friends met at the beautiful country home of Mr. and Mrs. Lon Perkins, five miles north of Lebanon to spend the day of June 27th, in honor of Mr. J. Elmer Thomas of Nebraska who left for his home on June 28th.All came with baskets filled with delicious eatables and at the noon hour the luncheon was spread upon the shady lawn and all enjoyed a delightful repast The afternoon was spent socially and later in the day the guests were served with ice cream and cake. Although a slight rainfall caused some hustle to get to the house, making it necessary to spend the remainder of the day indoors, it was none the less enjoyable, and late in the evening all departed proclaiming the day most pleasantly spent and one long to be remembered. It was named “Cousin’s Day” on account of such a number of those present being cousins. Those present were:J. E. Thomas, Osecola^ Neb.; Mrs. J. G. Dodson, Indianapolis; Mrs. J. L. Pyles and baby, Powell, of Seymour; Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Hill and son, Charley, Thorntown; Mr. and Mrs. J. A. White, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Witt and daughters, Doll and Ruth; Mrs. T. J. McCann, Mrs. Minnie Hester and daughter, Violet, of Lebanon; Mr. and Mrs. Orin McCann, Elisa-ville; Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Witt and sons, Buren, Jake and James; Mr. Clint Wingate and family, Mrs. Edgar Dodson and little son, Charier, Miss Bernice Witt, Mr. and Mrs. Lon Perkins and Bon, Lytle.
