Ripley, Beerwood and Motley.Grand Display of Pyrotechnics in theEvening!Brainerd at the last moment has aroused herself and concluded to celebrate the glorious Fourth in a style fitting and appropriate to the occasion, and although some times seemingly slow in getting started when once aroused to the importance of the occasion she always makes Home howl, and in this matter of celebrating the Fourth the people may expect a rousing time and if they have planned to go elswhere on that day the proper thing is to abandon the idea and by their influence and piesence help make the occasion more interesting.The members of the city council, so we are informed by Mr. Fish who is one ofthe prime movers, have singuified their Willingness to donate some $200 or $300from the treasury of the city, and with what can be raised in other ways the financial part is assured. The committee from the Knights of Labor, 8. of V., and G. A. K., are working like beavers to make everything agreeable and interesting and at a meet ing held Wednesday evening the general committee presented the following programme which wan adopted as the one to be followed;Salute of thirteen guns at 4:30 a. m,; all flags In the city to be run up to masthead, •r'VForming of proe* ^ion at 0:30 a.m., forming on Front, right restingon Sixth.Line of march, east on Front to Eighth; north to Boulevard; west to Sixth; thencesouth to the city park.Prayer by chaplain, E.
