• * *Irwin Bros/ burlesqiters Is rather a misnomer for the show that opened at the Empire, Monday matinee, for the ffreater and more pleasing portion of the performance consists of an olio of unusually clever vaudeville turns. The Street arabs* quartet is even better than when here before. Scott and AVilson have a novel way of showing their ability as acrobats, and their turn is one of the brightest. George Sidney and Harry Belmont do some good humorous work, as also do Houise Cam'er and Paulino Black, wluo have a rather disconcerting mania for picking on folks in the audience and making them ridiculous. The trick riding of Charles Merrill and W’lll Newhouse clo.sely borders on the marvelous. Lillian Waltone is the- possessor of a full, rich baritone voice. The closing burlesque. “A night at the armory.” in-tr'uiuces a number of songs nnd vaudeville turn.':, among them being the ‘Tn'e Band-son sisters’ act.
