This is an important week for some Mansfield students In the *outh—Thursday, Friday and Saturday mark the days of dancing at Washington and Lee university in Lexington, Va. . . . Jim McConnell, who's a student there, will have Mary Jane Ciyimp of Memphis, Tenn. as his guest, and his sister. Elsie, will leave her studies at Randolph-Marnn in Lynchburg, Va. to go down fur the dances as a guest of Bob Russell of Bridgeport, Conn. . . . Probably the biggest thrill of all is that Elsie and Bob will lead the junior figure at the Junior Prom on Thursday night. . . . There will be a fancy-dress bail on Friday night, w hen I he setting will typify the first Kentucky derby, held In the 1800's, . . . Ray Kyser’s band is playing for all the dances, and Saturday afternoon he will conduct his famous College of Musical Knowledge. - . . Incidentally, Lucy, Elsie is captain of the freshman hocky team at Randoiph-Maccn.
