The medium, Miss Abby Warner/ was arrested as the perpetrator of the act, tried before Esq K. If. Folger, aitd acquitted, because it was not proven positively that she Wee the guilty person. Since that the Dr has been leeibring to piove that Spiritual Rapping* is nobug I We have not learned that lib accomplished that object. - 'At Leesburgb, Tuscarawas tb. tltw Spiritual Rappers, are said to sing - antT slavery songs, and warned a lady present that she must leave the Methodist church because of its pro-slavery tendency .* The spirits moved about tables which men tried but in vain to hold ^till. Our readers may believe as much as they please about Spiritual Rappers and their acts—we believe it all gross imposture.
