ncockvuuriBr « 9HIVU*Order of Eastern StarHolds Pro-Tem NightOntralia Chapter Order of Eastern Siar observed annual Pro-Tem Night Tuesday evening at a meeting at the Masonic Temple Mrs Helen Landers served as Worthy Matron andHay Landers as Worthy Patron Mrs Bonnie Jannet of Carlyle was guest Associate Matron, other stations were filled by Pro tern officers of the local Chapter Mrs Mildred Drury was escorted to the East as guest of honor for the evening Mrs Mable Phillips, soloist, sang spe cial songs for the guest officers and Mrs Drury The altar was draped for Mrs Ruby Pfeiffer and the worthy patron. Jim Drury, gave a short memorial.Mrs Mary Ann Norton, worthy matron, presided at the business meeting and announced that the Chapter will serve a Lincoln Day dinner at the Temple on Feb 16. Mrs. Norton also announced Rainbow Girls installation onFeb 2 Dwight Kinsey. DeMolay Dad. invited members to attend DeMolay installation on Jan 26.Centralia Chapter pro-tem officers serving were Mrs. Cleon Hood. Mrs Lucile Kemp. Mrs. Bertha Williams. Mrs Iva Cavitt. Mrs I^eora Shingleton. Mrs. Harriet Kinsey. Mrs. Mar garet Heyduck, Mrs, Mary Cruzen, Mrs. Pearly Boner. Miss Maggie Jessup. Earle Harmon and Jim Hood. Mrs. EmmaHarmon, Mrs Velma Holzhauer, L R Craig and W G Cavitt filled their own stationsA social hour in the dining room followed the meeting The decorations were in a wintertime theme with the white backdrop featuring a large scene of evergreens and snowmen, and a welcome greeting An arrange ment of figures of snowmen and winter greenery centered theguest table; other tables held lighted green candles, with fa vors of miniature sleds filled with green mints A dessert course of cheese cake with coffee and tea was served.Mrs. Sybil Dillon decorated, Miss Irma Mullen was chairman of the refreshment committee Other committee members included Mrs. Bertha Clanahan. Mrs Viola Kurth. Mrs. Edith McDonald. Mrs Hazel Jones. Mrs Shirley Alcorn.
