Well Known Burlington Wo-man, Born In This County. 1Passes Away. lt;1*1Mrs. Violetta Ziglar Gabeline, wife I(! of George Gabeline, 106 South Central avenue, passed away this morning In Burlington hospital at* 7:45o’clock, after undergoing an operation which, It was thought, might have saved her life. She had beenin ill health for many months and has had several operations but without avail. Her most recent HIdcss was of but one week’s duration.She was born in Des Moines county, near Middletown, June 3, 1867, and moved to Henry county when 12 years of age, residing there for 451years, four miles southwest of Mt.New London-WinfleldUnion of the i,u|►lroad. On December 19. 1888, she w'as united in marriage with George Gabeline.The family moved to Burlington about five years ago, have beenpopular in a wide circle of friends and acquaintances and there will bemany to mourn her loss. Mrs.Gabeline was a member of tup M. E. church of Mt. Union, the Order of the Eastern Star and the WhiteShrine. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Everett L. Gabeline j of Mt. Union and Clarence C. Gabe- f line of Burlington, and one daughter. Hazel Gabeline Lauer, wife of HarryLauer of Mt. Union and four grandchildren.Also surviving are three sisters and two brothers, theae being Mrs. Ellen Fraleigh of Spokane, Wrash Mrs. Flora Cuddebach of West Burlington, Mrs. Lena Herrill of Correc-tionville, la., Jacob Ziglar of Mt.Pleasant, la., and Edward Ziglar of Greeley, Colo.There will be funeral services from the home on South Central avenue at 11 o’clock Thursday morning and from the M. E. church in Mt. Union at 2 o’clock Thursday af-trenoon. Burial will be in Trinity cemetery south of Mt. Union.*tI
