Davis, chairman of the festivities.Happiness for many Shakespeare Club members seems to be oil painting with the club having held oil painting classes for several years. When members and guests gather Monday and Tuesday for a “Happiness Is..party, three oil paintings, which were done by Esther Hammond, a deceased member, will be sold during a silent auction.Card games, dessert, and gifts, and the auction will highlight the two day festivities of which Mrs. Ronald W. Davis is chairman. Members and guests will be playing card games of their choice, with tallies and score cards furnished.Miss Jane Abberley is co-chairman of the festivities. Mmes. Clark Branson and Edward F. Mitulski have charge of reservations and of preparing and serving dessert and coffee,Creating decorations, which will reveal the surprise theme, are Mmes. George W. Tubb and Vincent P. Hengesbach.Members of the ways and means committee who will serve as hostesses include Mmes. George A. Allison, Mainerd V, Baker, William K. Billingsley Jr., Charles 0.
