News From BowieBy KATHERN HALL BOWIE — Miss Karen Barksdale is Bowie High School’s 193/ “Homemaker of Tomorrow.” She is now eligible for state and national competition. A state “Homemaker of Tomorrow” and runner-up will be selected from' the winners of all schools in the state, with the former receiving a $1,500 college scholarship Her school will be given a complete set of encyclopedias and the runner-up will be awarded a $500 educational grant.Sally White, Natalie Grusendorf, Jerry Brown, Karen Barksdale, Jean Mefford, Norma Bowman.
