Doetcli Tuesday evening.Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Jackson and children were Wednesday night supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Ellis.Mr. and Mrs. John Stanley are rejoicing over the arrival of a new granddaughter born Tuesday, Jan. 7, to Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Dillon of Makanda. The little Miss weighed 5 lbs. 14 oz. and has been named Marilyn Jane. Mrs. Dillon was formerly Mary Ruth Stanley.Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Hagler and children called on the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Hagler, Friday night.Dr. Etlierton was called to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Grammer Saturday to see Mrs. Grammer, who is ill.Mrs. Minnie Stanley spent Tuesday evening with her nephew, Clifford Fore and family. Their little daughter, Carolyn Ruth, has been seriously ill but is improved at this writing.Mrs. Ora Holder visited Thursday [evening with Mrs. Harrison Hagler.Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Dillinger and daughter, Shirley Ann, visited Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jones and children Sunday evening.Mrs. Hiram Reeves and son, Roscoe, of near Etlierton Switch lias been taking care of her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Edw. Ryrne, who have .been pneumonia patients. They are improving slowly.f Mr. and Mrs. Arlio Smith and family have moved to the Ralph Ellishouse.Mr. and Mrs. John Stanley and sons visited at the home of their son, Vernon Stanley. Friday evening.
