They will be onIithe platform and w*ll tell their own story of the bloody attack onLawrence on Aug. 21, 1SO-J, byQuantrill and his raiders. Leroy E. Harris, local attorney, will be the master of ceremonics.The Rev. W. H. Christopher ofthe North Lawrence St. James A.M. E. church will give the invocation. The Rev. A. L. Brown, ex-nastor of the church, will deliver the address on behalf of the church|and the Rev. R. A. Adams, presid-, ing elder of the fifth Kansas district of the A. M. K. church, will| speak for the district.The citv of Laurence will berepresented by Gen. W. H. Sears who will deliver an address on the raitL -The musical entertainment willinclude vocal solos by Miss BlancheFuesha, Miss Lola Walker andMiss Thelma Jackson, and a male {duet by Vernon Walker and Elgin Woodv. The u.-hers will be Mrs.L. E. Wall ace, Mrs. James Daniels and William Suttles, who comprise the committee on the program.
