Ilis work in various rough and ready characters, as well as in the more refined roles, has brought him a host of admirers who are more than pleased with his latest picture, “The Fighting Blade.” It is romance of the olden time, harking back to the days of Oliver Cromwell, when that valiantold warrior kept things straight in Britain, even though it took bloodletting to do it. The picture is a brilliant one, and can be seen here for the last time today. It has a thrilling story of the perils of revolution to tell, and likewise a love story of uncommon merit. Mr. Barthelmess is splendidly supported, and the picture is excellent. A News Weekly and a comedy add to the bill. Friday and Saturday Bebe Daniel3, and Antonio Moreno in “The Exciters, which gives both these favorites plenty to do, and “breaks records for speed and daring,” according to the bill. Also another chapter in the second series of “Fighting Blood will please everybody, old and young. Lincoln J. Carter, who used to make thrills on the legitimate stage for all the people, comes Sunday and Monday with “The Eleventh Hour, which is said to contain “the thrills of a thousand pictures packed into one,” and that’s lust what to expect of a Carter piece. Not only is it a great play, but the east is one you will enjoy. It contains Shirley Mason, June Blvidge, Charles Jones, Allan Hale and other good players. There is also a News Weekly and a two-reel comedy, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, “Six-Cylinder Love,” with Ernest Traux and a competent cast. This is a tale of the trials of a young couple who buy a six-cylinder car to be in the swim with their friends, and haven't enough money to buy gasoline. Their troubles make a funny picture. The play had great vogue on the stage, and is no less successful on the screen.
