StOWNIE TROOP 793 IN VISITATION DAYOn January 14 Brownie Troop #793 had Visitation Day at their regular meeting. Eaeh girt in the troop invited another girl to be her guest and their visitor helped to make plaques made on a piece of plywood, cut out in the shape of the Girl Scout trefoil and using alphabet macaroni inscribing The Brownie B's . ... Be Discovers, Be Ready Helpers, Be Friend-Makers.A story book was given as a prize to the girl that finished first in putting together a picture cut up in four pieces. Winner was Debbie Proebazka-but since Betty already has a book like the one given, Mrs. Prochazka, leader of the troop, ■suggested it be given to the runner-up who was Leigh Ann Koehn,In the Visitors Name Tag Drawing a prize of modeling clay went to Michelle Newton.Those inviting a guest were: Brenda Barclay, Brenda Barnes, Ruth Ann Bynum, Debra Faughn, Lori Fults, Gayla Gorton, Renee Grisham, Tami Hunt, Laurie Jordy, Leigh Ann Koehn, Mimi La Grone, Kathy Muldrow, Bonny Mabry, Debbie Prochazka, Jennifer Mor-genroth, Brenda Rawls, Dodie Toups and Amanda Williams.Visitors were: Nancy Spinks, Rita and Nita Stagg, SherylSmith, Karen Evans, Terri Dodge, Becky Bynum, Tina Hopson, Michelle Newton, Sheri Ladd, Cindy Smith, Terri Grisham, Mari Ann Masterson, Nettie Faughn, Keli La Grone,Sara Gregory.Co-leader of the Troop is Mrs. Mark Barclay.— -oOo-H-GAC Annual Meet Set At GavestenThe Annual Meeting of the General Membership Body of the Houston-Galveston Area Council will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan 24, in the Balinese Room, Galveston.Item one on the agenda is “Certification of Delegates, 1969.-oOo-NOTICE TO BIDDERSSealed bids addressed to the Mayor and City Council of theCity of Deer Park, Texas, andmarked Automotive Bids” will be received at the Deer Park City Hall, 1302 Center, Deer Park, Texas, until 5:00 PM, Tuesday, January 28th, 1969, for furnishing one 1969 pick-up truck.
