In recent seasons alone they have three times won the Community Center parish league championship; have been top contenders in several other races and in the 1939 city championship tourney won runner-up honors in the senior division.William J. (Bill) Consol, police department sergeant, Ib the club’s one carry-over member from the original 1922 outfit. He was an active player th%n. In the last eight years he hascoa-ched and managed the squad, but has now relinquished his first job, placing Albert. DiFalco in charge as coach with Pete Buffone acting as assistant. Consol retains the manager’s duties and was instrumental in formation this year of the St. Anthony’s Booster club. The boosters, composed of representative Italian citizens, have helped promote the team, which is associated with St. Anthony pariah, and which plays independently under sponsorship of Janies Tripodi, of The Venetian. That the 1940 campaign is to be another big one for the Saints is evident from their early season record which already shows eight victories in twelve starts. Tonight at the Catholic Community Center they will play the Polish Cavaliers from Weirton.GAMES TONIGHTCLASS A.Steubenville at Tiltonsvllle, ,\\ Cumberland at Pollans bee, Bethany at Wolfsburg.
