MAIL CARRIERS STOPPEDBY COLD AND SNOW DRIFTSGeorge Saxton, Murray Yenter and Frank Clear, Oxford- mail carriers, made heroic efforts to brave the subzero weather Wednesday morning and carry the mail through. However, after being out awhile bucking the drifts, which in some places were 3 and 4 feet deep, the men were forced to return. Frank Clear was reported to have frozen his ears.
