It is. * .said that he recently inherited $2,800 in cash and now he is “blowing” it in with a vengeance. It is said that he has already spent $800 of the amount, although he received it only a few days r since. He came to this city with a cou-ple of Iloodhouse companions Sunday and in the evening he went with them i : to the house named and later he foundIhimself under arrest and was compelled to recline on the stone tioorof the city prison during the rest of the night. The young man is an •rphan 3 I and this morning an uncle came up to got him out of his trouble, giving a check for the amount of the Hue and' •costs, amounting to something like twenty-six dollars. The uncle is a grey haired, kindly faced man, and , while at the oftlce of the chief of police t he requested the privilege of looking \ | into the prison where his nephew o had been confined. He was gone but ! a moment, but when he came out tears were chasing each other down his fur ; rowed cheeks and he seemed grief r i stricken over the disgrace which had0 1 come on his nephew. The young manwas warned that his companions were, plotting to relieve him of his money,. and his uncle, as well as Capt.
