Graduates at Mid-Semester at JTNumber 584, Including 39 Master/Some 584 students completed degree requirements at the University of Texas at Arlington during the fall semester, reports Registrar Zack Prince.Of the overall total, 506 earned bachelor's degrees 39 completed master s degrees and 39 were awarded two-year associate in science degrees. By undergraduate schools, the School of Liberal Arts produced 192 graduates, the School of Business Administration 133, the School of Science 94 and the School of Kngineering 87.Among the master s degrees awarded were two in urban studies to Carol Sue Childress of Dallas and Ruth Adaire Halwes of Arlington, the first in the academic program which began in the fall of 1970The graduates represent 90 Texas cities and towns, seven other states and four foreign nationsCharlotte Wright of Denton earned two bachelor of science degrees, attaining highest honors in electrical engineering and high honors in mathematics.
