NEWTOWNER LEAVES BOOKS TO U. OF MAINEORONO, Maine, Jan. IS — (UP1) The University of Maine library announced today acquisition of 560 volumes by ISth Century authors as a gift of the late Mary Alden Hopkins of Newtown, Conn.Miss Hopkins, a native of Bangor, died Nov. 8, 1960, She attended the University of Maine and later studied at Wellesley college and Columbia university.The books were bequeathed under the terms of her will, librarian Louis T.
