RABBIT LAKE—At the January meeting of the Rabbit Lake 4-H club held at the town hall on Jan. 6, the club decided that each member interested in entering the Radio Speaking Contest should give their talks at the next meeting. Reports were given on the banquet held for the parents and the skating party, which was not held. Mary Prushek, Margie Spengler, Leon Pfau and Don Meacham wereput on a committee to select a one-act play for the club. Georgians Eimer was in charge of the program. The club enjoyed square dancing after the meeting.BARROWS — Younger members of the Barrows 4-H club met at the Emil Zuelich home on Jan. 11. This was for organization of the younger members of the club, who will hold separate meetings during the school year and will again join with the older members for joint meetings after school is out. Officers include: President. Carol Peterson; vice president, Charles Grondin, secretary - treasurer, Elaine Pederson; reporter. Allan Anthony. In response to roll call the members told why they had chosen the project they were taking. Elaine Pederson gave a talk on parliamentary procedure.
