an.Mrs. Alexander, who is quite ill at the home of her daughter, Mrs, Txmis Vollmer, is slowly improving though she is nearing eighty years. Dr. E. D. Freeman is attending her with Mrs. Laura G. Hyatt, nurse.Miss Etta Bcnham, who teaches at Albaugh, and who stays with her aunt, Mrs. L. G. Hyatt, was taken ill last Thursday evening with the grip, and her brother, William took her to her own home south of Versailles on Friday, but at this writing she is able to sit up.The home of Mrs. Gertie Wagner caught fire Sunday morning and burned quite a hole in the roof before it could be extinguished.
