Hovey’s order n regard to Andrew Humphreys, had been set aside by GeneralHooker, and Humphreys re-arrested.The Sentinel of Friday says:We stated a few days ago that Major General Hooker had revoked the order of Gen. Hovey, modifying the sentencepassed upon Mr. Andrew Humphreys, and had ordered the finding of the commission to be strictly enforced, to-wit: confinement during the war at hard labor. We now learn* that the whole matter is in the hands-of the President, md that he has giyen nstructions to the effect that the order of Gen. Hovey changing the finding of the commission against Ir. Humphreys to his release upon his parole of honor hat he will confine himself within the limits of Wright and Stockton townships, in the county of Greene, during the term of the present war of the rebellion, shall stand until he otherwise directs.
