ORDINARY RABBIT DOGS.G. N. Porter Talks About Canton’sBloodhounds. *G N. Porter has at last had an opportunity of looking over the alleged bloodhounds recently purchased by the Canton authorities. “And i can tell you,” said he, this morning, “that if the mayor uf that town paid bloodhound prices for those animals, he certainly did get the worst of it, unless bloodhounds have changed since I was a slave and on a plantation where there always was a kennel full. These dogs at Canton are just. common rabbit hounds. A bloodhound hasn’t got long ears. Its ears are short, and it is short-jointed all over.”
