Square dance club starts lessonsNorth Star Eight- Square Dance Club started beginners lesson Sunday, Jan, 15, with four new squares of dancers. Enrollment in the class continues through the second lesson which will be from 1;30, plm. until 3:30 p.m.. Sunday, Jan. 22., Thesenes of 20 lessons is being taught by Glenn Bennett, club caller. After the first two lessons, which are free, the cost will be $2 per person per lesson. The lessons are being held at the club building on Highway 82 West, two miles from Loop 286.For more information, persons may call 784-6925 or 785-8144.On Jan. 14, the club held its regular second Saturday dance with Bennett calling for the dancers. Visitors were from Paris Squares, and Hugo Square Dance Club.Refreshments were served by Virginia Eaton and Fran Hagan. The next dance will be Saturday, Jan, 28. All square dancers in the area are invited to attend.
