Ex~Pocatelfan Gets Honor in State EventA former Pocatellan, Ja-neile Burkett, now of Lewiston, was third runnerup to the new Idaho Junior Miss. .Miss Burkett* competing as Lewiston's Junior Miss, received this honor at the-1167 page-and held Saturday in Moscow, A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Burkett, she is now a senior at Lewiston High SchoolWinning the Junior Miss Title and the right to represent the state at the national pageant in Mobile, Ala., was Terri Thomock, daugher of Mr, and Mrs. LaVear Thomock of Twin Falls. She was given recognition in the youth fitness and talent divisions. Her talent was an interpretive dance.Only contestant from this area was Ranelle Pierce of Aberdeen.
