Arlon Society Klecii Head.Henry Ahl, for many years vice-president of the Arlon Singing Society, was elected president ut yesterday afternoon's annual meeting In the Krueger Auditorium as the result of a lively contest. Paul Peschel wan Mr. Ahl's principal opponent. These are tho other officers that will lead the Arionltes to further social and musical victories during 1910: Vice-president. Otto F. Rauch: corresponding secretary, Eugene llrccht; recording secretary, Paul Peachel; financial secretary. William O. Schrafft; treasurer, John.E. Mayer; librarian. Anton Mueller: collector, Adolph Kollmar. Julius Lorens, the veteran* conductor of the society, was unanimously reelected to his old post, while John Pteinenlk was chosen vice-director. The trustees elected were August A. Sippcl. WilliamF. Hoffmann. Theodore Schrafft and Herman A. Dittler. Treasurer Mayer’s report was most gratifying, while that of the secretary showed a total membership of 601, an increase of eighty-ono over last Vear.
