Winner in :t popular election among Eagles, Dorothy Thrasher, ?*!1H East Main street, «as rruvvmd Wednesday night as “queen” of the Eagles’ carnival dance at their club. Marguerite Met'all was in second place; Maurine King, third. Others in the contest were Arlene Browning, Mary Louise Burns, Marie Dial, Fern Frederick, Roeine Hemm, W anda Horn, Haia'I Price, Vivian Kenshaw, Betty Stephenson, Man Williamson and Barbara dean Willis. Several hundred attended the social affair; crowded the dance floor to capacity. Master of ceremonies was Paul Tinslex, who introduced the winners and presided over the “coronation.”
