ORDINARY RABBIT DOGS.G. N. Porter Talks About Canton'sBloodhounds.G N. Porter has at last had an opportunity of looking over the alleged bloodhounds recently purchased by the Can-m authorities. “And 1 can tell you,” ‘-aid he, this morning, “that if the mayor f that town paid bloodhound prices for nose animals, he certainly did get the worst of it, unless bloodhounds have changed since I was a slave and on a plantation where there always was a kennel full. These dogs at Canton are ust common rabbit hounds. A blood-hound hasn’t got long ears Its ears are short, and it is short jointed all over.”
