Uncle Billy Crosby, Famous Cowboy Guide, Dies In HurricaneHURRICANE, Utah (UP) — Uncle Billy Crosby died yesterday at the age of 82 after he apparently couldn’t go on without his horse and favorite saddle.Uncle Billy, whose real name was William Crosby, was a widely known cowboy guide for 20 years at Kaibab National Forest, a onetime Indian interpreter and grandson of Jacob Hamblin.
