A. relief work started here last Monday grading a mad up Max Creek to Floyd county line giving about 160 men employment a week.James Odell passed a w a y Thursday evening, January 4 at the age of 85 after a long illness.He is survived by his widow, j ^ Nancy Willis Odell and the fol- jjj lowing children: J. H. Odell and Mrs. Malindia Guynn, near Pu-laiski and one brother Jacob Odell, one son, Fugate and a daughter, Mrs. Dollie Phillips preceded him to the grave several years ago. Funeral services were held in the home Saturday morning at 10 o'clock by J. T. Spence and was laid to rest in the family burial ground. He leaves a host of relatives and friends to mourn hisIiacghitescHinJ.
