Christmas fools were seen out nearly every night....Mr. and Mrs. GeorgeBakken and daughter visited at An- j drew Trvggestad’s Sunday...... Lars jand Lillian Lothen spent Sunday af- j ternoon at Ellef Hanson’s... .Mr. and Mrs. Marion West and the latter’s j mother spent New Year’s day at Joe Delap’s.... Students of Bud vicinityhave returned to Yiroqua to resume jschool work, after two weeks’ vacs-j tion... .Melvin Hanson, a Viroqua mechanic, spent a few days at home during Christmas. ...Small-pox seems to be spreading, having now appeared in the homes of Bob and Albert Skrede, Russel Delap’s and W. P. Hudson.... Mrs. Thore Hanson was called to \m-Crosse by the serious illness of her ]mother Bud has lost one of itsmost popular young ladies, Leda Thompson being married and is nowliving in Minneapolis Tillie Ga-brielson and Ragna Bakken visited at C. W. Hanson’s. . . The sons, daughters and grandchildren of Mrs, Paul; Hanson gathered at her home on | Christmas day and partook of a sumptuous turkey dinner A largecrowd enjoyed the Christmas program and tree held under auspices of the Evening Star Club. All were pleased to see Rev. Jacobson, who came from Highland to hold services and also to he present at the Christmas tree....
