w. £REMER WAS FIFTYLast Tuesday Will Bremer reached the half century mark, and in honor of the event a large number of friends gathered at his home to help him celebrate. They brought with them everything to make a fine birthday dinner; roast chicken, birthday cake and all that goes with it. After the feast the time was spent in music, cards and social talk, but the most complete surprise came when his daughters Mary and Minnie presented their father with a beautiful gold watch. At a late hour and after wishing Mr. Bremer many more happy anniversaries, the guests left for their homes. The guests were Will Werling and wife, Fred Meyer and wife, Martin Bremer and wife, Fred Werling and wife, George Brudi and wife^.George Hormann and wife, Mrs. Mary Breracr, Mrs. Margaret Bremer, Anna and August Bremer.
