DISCUSS SOCIAL WELFARE PLANS AT AAUW MEETINGA mooting of the St. Char-Branch of the American Assicia-{•ion of University Women was hold last night ’in the Library Club Room of Lindenwood College. The (program was given by the Education and Legislative Committees of the Branch.Miss Eva Bradford, Miss Anale Hockley and 'Miss Mary- Lidk* liter discussed the policies of AAUW in regard to state and federal legislation for education. Dr. Elizabeth DawsOn, assisted iby Mrs. R. O. Denning and Mrs. jBuschmeyer, spoke on legal sta-1 tus of women. The progress and desired changes in legislation for social welfare were discussed by Mrs. John Machell.Mss Mary Shultz. Mrs. Henry Buschmeyer. Mrs. William Waye,and Miss Anna Wurster.* •
