News From Spurgeonby Glands WilliamsEd Sooter, Miller, Doren Hobart, Howard Arwood, and David Arwood were dinner guests at the Rueal Testerman home on New Year’s Day. Also visiting that day was Mrs. Lillian Hunt.Ava Williams celebrated her brithday, Jan. 5. Also celebrating birthdays that day are her aunt, Edna Butler, Neosho, and great-aunt, Ladine Ledford, Tiff City.Mr. and Mrs. Harold Williams. Ava and Robbie and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Williams returned Friday from a week’s vacation at Meridian NAS, Miss. They visited Warrant Officer and Mrs. J. P. Williams who have a new son, born Dec. 20.Mr. and Mrs. Don Scott enjoyed supper and home movies at the home of their son, Donald, Joplin, Saturday night.
